Can you believe Thanksgiving is this week? I honestly can’t, but I am truly thankful for a short time to relax, bond with family, and feast on some holiday yummies. Thanksgiving just means we are one step closer to Christmas, aka the best holiday!

While the food may be the main event at your Thanksgiving gathering, no holiday get together would be complete without a bomb outfit to show off to all of your relatives. There’s nothing quite like prancing around the kitchen and grazing on snacks in an outfit that makes you feel like the fashion icon of your family. Your cousins have nothing on this.

Hey guys! Happy Monday!

Recently, I’ve been in a workout funk. Maybe it’s stress, maybe it’s hormones, maybe it’s just me being lazy, but I have had the hardest time finding motivation to push through my workouts. Even Cay’s Cardio Hits couldn’t get me through 🙁  So, to beat the blues, I did what every gym fashionista would do- I bought a new workout outfit. And let me tell you, it worked like a charm. Now, I know that sounds very superficial and shallow & shopping shouldn’t be the cure for everything, but we all know that when you #lookgood you #feelgood & I am a firm believer in #treatingyaself every now and then.

However, treating yourself to a new gym outfit doesn’t have to break the bank! That’s why at the bottom of my Week of Workouts I’ve included links to 3 complete gym outfits that are under $40! (including the outfit I bought this past week) So take a look, take out your credit card, and then take your fly looking self to the gym.

Monday: Easy Arms

Cardio Circuit: 10 sets of 30 second sprint followed by 30 second jog

  • 3 sets 10 bicep curls
  • 3 sets 10 hammer curls
  • 3 sets 10 dumbbell kickbacks
  • 3 sets 15 overhead extensions
  • 3 sets 15 tricep dips

Tuesday: Run/Walk/Abs

1 mile run on tread at 5.5 mph

0.5 mile walk at 4.0 mph

0.5 mile run at 5.5 mph

*grab a bosu ball and do 3 rounds of*

  • 40 mountain climbers holding bosu sides
  • 20 situps on bosu
  • 20 knee ins on bosu

Wednesday: Light Legs & Bootay

20 minutes on cybex machine or stairmaster

  • 3 sets 10 weighted split squats
  • 3 sets 15 hip thrusts (no weight)
  • 3 sets 12 weighted sumo squats
  • 3 sets of 10 (each leg) single leg deadlifts

Thursday: Row & Back

10 minute row

  • 3 sets 12 one arm dumbbell row
  • 3 sets 10 reverse flys
  • 3 sets 10 lateral raise
  • 3 sets 10 cable face pulls
  • 3 sets 10 low cable row
  • 3 sets 10 cable pulldown

Friday: Cardio

20 minutes on tread, elliptical, stairmaster

3 rounds of

  • 12 burpees
  • 20 bodyweight squats
  • 15 pushups
  • 20 situps
